What is CUET?

CUET refers to Common University Entrance Test or Central Universities Common Entrance Test as a golden opportunity for the students who are seeking admission to Central Universities across the country. CUET is an entry-level test held by the National Testing Agency for students to study further in Central Universities. Students can apply for admission to different programs in Central Universities by clearing the CUET.

An Overview of CUET Syllabus 2022

How Many Students have Registered In CUET? 

Every year, lakhs of students register for CUET to study at a centrally recognised University. Due to the high competition of CUET, considered to be the second biggest entrance level exam conducted in India. Around 11,51,319 candidates had registered already for the CUET Exam according to the notice of the UGC Chairman for undergraduate programme admission. Mostly, the candidates belong to rural and remote areas as there are no available coaching centres, and are unable to get the best education for scoring good marks in the exam. But, CUET permits all the students to study and score good marks from central Universities of India by competing with each other in the exam. Approx.9,14,103 candidates had registered including 44.2% of female candidates and Category wise 47% belonging to the unreserved category also submitted the fee for attempting the exam.
