Where can I park?

Finding a parking spot at Gap Factory can be difficult at times. There are several small parking lots that surround Gap, but you might have to search for a while before finding one. However, if you’re planning on staying late, there is almost always an available space in front of Gap. You could also park in any of the nearby parking garages and walk to Gap or take public transportation if you don’t want to deal with finding a place to park. It’s best not to drive directly into downtown San Jose during rush hour (typically between 5:30 and 7:00 pm), as traffic tends to come to a standstill and drivers become impatient, thus resulting in road rage incidents, aggressive driving and accidents.

How do I get there via public transport?

If you don’t have your own car, using public transport to get to Gap Factory can be a little tricky. However, it is still possible; here are some tips. Trains Getting to and from Gap Factory by train can be quite difficult. You could take a train from Strawberry Hill (RIS) or Herne Hill (RIS) stations directly to Canada Water Underground Station, where you can then catch another train on via Canada Water Underground Station to London Overground Westbound Platform or Canary Wharf Underground Station.

Can my kids visit this place?

Although Gap Factory is not directly aimed at children, it is an indoor attraction and children of all ages are welcome. If your child has special needs or requirements, then please do contact Gap Factory in advance to check whether they will be able to cope with anything specific that may be required on your day out. For example, if you have a toddler who won’t sit still for more than a minute, then we don’t recommend visiting as it might be too much of a challenge! At Gap Factory you can be assured that kids are always made to feel welcome – if they behave themselves! Our workers are trained in child psychology and can often get even our most difficult guests smiling!
